Leadership Pickens is an eight-month program that brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds and offers an educational experience designed to expose them to many facets of our community. An orientation/ice breaker will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012, at the Carriage House Coffee Shop; the program officially begins at an overnight retreat on October 19 & 20. 

Dates for the remaining sessions are: November 8, December 13, January 10, February 14, March 14, and April 11. Each class will begin at 9:00 A.M. and will conclude by 5:00 P.M. The Leadership year will culminate with a graduation dinner and ceremony on the evening of May 7, 2013, beginning at 6:00 P.M. Other information for the upcoming year will be given out at the orientation.

The cost for the program is $450 to be paid no later than graduation. This fee will cover the majority of the program expenses with other program costs being covered by a number of community sponsors and the Chamber Snowball Leadership Golf Tournament.
